Do I need an appointment?
No appointments are need for small groups. Ceramix 101 is a walk-in business. We only take reservations for special events, parties and larger groups.
How long will it take me to make a piece?
The length of time it takes you to complete a project depends on the size of the piece, the intricacy of the design, and the number of colors used. A beginner level painter with a simple piece usually takes about an hour and a half to complete. Ceramix 101 doesn’t charge a time fee, so take the time you need. If you can’t finish in one session just come back as many times as you need.*

Do I have to pay the cost of the item and all the studio fees if I decide to use multiple sessions?
Yes. Ceramix 101 has a policy that full payment is due during your first visit. There are no fees for additional time spent in the studio.
What if I’m not creative?
We believe everyone who walks through the studio doors at Ceramix 101 is creative! We have stencils, stamps, idea books, a helpful staff, and many finished pieces throughout the studio for you to use as inspiration for a one-of-a-kind creation!
Do I need to bring anything?
We have all the supplies you need, including the bisque (unglazed, white ceramic ware), paints, brushes, design tools, design ideas, and assistance.
Can I bring snacks?
Yes, we allow you to bring in your own small snacks and beverages. At this time we do not sell any food or beverages, but are located right next to Kingsridge Plaza convenience store and Phil B’s cafe. Other special requests and arrangements are available when booking parties and events.
What if I complete my project, but do not need it for two weeks? Or… what if I am visiting the area and leaving before the item is out of the kiln?
We will store your completed project for one month, unless special arrangements are made. Ceramix 101 is not responsible for fired items left more than 30 days. We also provide shipping services if you would like us to ship your items.
